If you’ve found this post you’re probably scratching your head and wondering how eBay pays my mortgage each month without me actually having to sell anything.

I went through a phase of selling items that i no longer needed, that brought a bit of cash (that i quickly spent on more crap from eBay). I decided that this pretty time intensive and ditched that idea.

I then stumbled across a site that allows you to list eBay items on your site. Why would i want to do this you may ask? As people that have sold on eBay know they take a nice slice of commission for their troubles, this commission is taken from the final selling price. By advertising eBay auctions on your site you become an affiliate, this means that eBay will pay you a minimum of %50 of that commission they charge the seller if the browser clicks through from your site and buys an item.

On top of these commissions eBay also pays out up to $50.00 for any new user.

I decided that i would develop a couple of websites using this eBay script and see what i could achieve.

I was pretty pleased to find that in my first full month as an ebay affiliate i made almost $400.00. I regularly make upwards of $1500.00 a month as an affiliate and that’s without selling a single thing!

The first port of call is eBay and deciding on what kind of products you want to sell through your store, a handy hint, try games consoles! We shall call this your “niche”.

Once you have established your niche you should try and find a relevant domain name, domains with store, shop, buy, cheap and discounted can help when it comes to marketing your site.

The next thing you need to do is grab a copy of Wordpress its a free blog program that will be the framework to your site.

Now find some hosting, i like these Hostgator, they’re a large hosting company that are very reliable.

Now you have your hosting you can point your domain and upload your Wordpress files.

The main eBay store uses a program called PHPBAY you can get a copy here. The script isn’t free, however I made back the cost in less than a week! The forums are very helpful and there is a full manual on how to install and use this excellent plugin.

I won’t go through the whole process, but what I will say is if I can make money on line through ebay then you can too.

Must have plugins! These are very important to install! Not free but make a huge difference to your earnings.

Some handy plugins that are free, these  will make sure your site becomes succesful.
